Happy Friday everyone! Hannah here for a quick tip: >>Simple Scoring<< Here at MAMBI we're always using our Scor-it Boards to score paper for projects or mockups. It's a really helpful tool to crease paper cleanly and easily. I've found it super helpful when card-making or doing paper crafts. The rulers at the top of the board make it very easy to measure where I want my crease to go and the rubber surface (black area) keeps the paper from slipping.
If you don't have a Scor-it Board, fear not! Today's quick tip will show you a way to crease your papers with precision and ease. To achieve the crisp paper crease that we're looking for we're going to use the edge of our cutting mat.
Next take the paper you need creased and line the edge of your mat with where you want it to be creased. Take advantage of the ruler lines to keep your paper straight.
Finally, run two fingers along the edge of the cutting mat. Press firmly to create a crisp crease so that the finger along the raised edge of the mat and the finger running along the table will create the crease. That's it, good luck!
